My name is Nicole White and I just graduated from UT this month with my BSN. I am currently taking a few electives over the summer months so that all of my RN to BSN requirements will be completed in full. One of the main reasons that I decided to choose this class as one of my electives is because I would like to get in touch with my creative side and have a little bit of fun in the process. After reading the syllabus for this class, I realize that this class will be extremly demanding. This is suprising to me, not that it is a bad thing...I am always up for a challange...I am just hoping that it will not take aware from me enjoying this class.
A little about myself...I am a 25 year old female working as an RN at TGH in the surgical/trauma ICU. My life long dream has always been to become a nurse. I was blessed with the ability to start my dream of nursing early in life. In 2002, I graduated from high school with the ability to sit for my LPN boards. Since then, I have been taking baby steps building up my education/degree. I am currently finishing up some electives over the summer for my BSN. I do plan on going on to become a ARNP or ARNA...but maybe after I travel for a bit...I really need a break! I am originally from Maryland, where I met my boyfriend Brandon...(we have been together for the past six years.) We moved to the Tampa area two years ago. We are really enjoying ourselves here. We can't wait until we have to opportunity to travel though....maybe the beginning of next year we will start. Until then, school and work...pretty routine... See ya all in class!
